A Lis Pendens in Missouri is a recording in the County where real property is located advising the world of a pending lawsuit which affects Title to the real property.  Care must be taken concerning filing a Lis Pendens in order to avoid a claim of Slander of Title or otherwise creating liability.  An experienced real estate Attorney is required.
